The sides of the front panel are decorated with black velvet ribbon and Venetian lace trimming on top of a descending black lace ruffle. The centre front is decorated with a brocade appliqué and black brocade buttons. The velvet mullet shaped lower part of the top is shorter at the front as the back. The hem is trimmed with ruffled lace and black velvet ribbon. The sleeves have lace trimming around the elbows and the flaring lower part of the sleeves are trimmed with ruffled lace adorned with velvet ribbon.
